Selectie van PROMs voor de klinische praktijk
Samenvatting
Om de optimale PROMs te selecteren, kan een gestructureerde aanpak op basis van behoeften worden gebruikt:
- Identificeer de te beoordelen aspecten, rekening houdend met doelgroepen, het tijdstip van de beoordeling en de frequentie.
- Selecteer geschikte PROMs voor deze aspecten en controleer hun beschikbaarheid.
Overweeg:
- Het coördineren van het selectieproces en het betrekken van zorgverleners bij de implementatie om de relevantie en acceptatie te vergroten.
- Wetenschappelijk ontwikkelde, ziektespecifieke core outcome sets (COS) ter ondersteuning van de selectie.
- Het gebruik van de EORTC Item-Library om PROMs aan te passen als bestaande statische PROMs niet aan de gedefinieerde behoeften voldoen.
