If this is your first visit, we recommend to go through the tabs below to make the most effective use of this course.

Cancer and its treatment can impair functioning and cause symptoms, which individually affects quality of life. Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) offer a standardized way to assess and monitor these effects, thereby supporting more individualized and responsive cancer care.

In pursuit of this aim, the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) offers this course on the use of PROMs in oncology, focusing on

  • the concept and benefits of PROMs
  • available PROMs and their set-up for clinical application
  • making the best use of information gained from PROMs.
