Question and response format of EORTC PROMs

EORTC PROMs use a harmonised response format: Not at all (1), A little (2), Quite a bit (3), Very much (4) (sometimes plus “not applicable”). Most questions use a 1-week recall period.

Few exceptions are:

The two items (29,30) use a 7-point scale from “Very poor” to “Excellent”.

Conditional questions only have to be answered if applicable.
