3. Introduction to PROMs developed by the EORTC

Summary

The EORTC PROM system comprises both static PROMs (fixed questionnaires) and individually customisable PROMs.
Static PROMs include generic core questionnaires, cancer-specific modules, and standalone questionnaires.
The EORTC QLQ-C30 as one of the most widely used PROMs is available at https://qol.eortc.org/questionnaires/, along with other static EORTC PROMs.
All EORTC PROMs use a harmonised question/response format and are evaluated using calculated scales.
